“Karamzin” is an immersive performance that brings to life the lines of Lyudmila Petrushevskaya’s free-verse novel Karamzin. A Village Diary, written over 30 years ago in the vicinity of Vyksa.
the Doschatoe House of Culture to immerses in the imagery and meanings of the village diary. It is dedicated to the metaphysical space of a Soviet cultural center, and the boundless feeling of child creativity.
The laws of this space are known only to the main characters- the guide who accompany the audience throughout the journey. The performance was created ans designed by children from troubled families living in the Pelican rehabilitation center.
